Refund policy

At Fish Finder Tech Pty Ltd, we adhere to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees your rights relating to refunds, returns, and repairs.

We offer a 30-day return and refund policy, starting from the date you receive your item. A 20% restocking fee applies to all approved change-of-mind returns.

How to Request a Return or Refund

To be eligible:

  • Items must be in their original, unused condition, with tags attached and in original packaging.

  • You must provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order confirmation).

  • Requests must be made within 30 days of receiving your item.

Unapproved returns or items returned without prior contact will not be accepted.

Return Shipping

  • If your return is approved, we’ll provide a return shipping label and instructions.

  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

20% Restocking Fee

All approved returns for change of mind, incorrect purchases, or exchanges (excluding faulty items) will incur a 20% restocking fee. This fee covers handling, inspection, and repackaging.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or replacement if a product:

  • Has a major problem (e.g. unsafe, doesn’t do what we said it would, is significantly different from the sample or description), or

  • Is otherwise faulty due to manufacturing issues.

Please inspect your order upon delivery. Contact us immediately at info@fishfindertech.com.au if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect so we can resolve the issue.

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Gift cards

  • Personalised or custom-made items

  • Used or damaged items not due to our error

  • Hazardous materials or flammable goods

Exchanges

For a different item, we recommend placing a new order once your return is approved and processed. This ensures you receive your preferred item quickly.

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, we’ll refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund. If you haven’t received your refund within 15 business days, contact us at info@fishfindertech.com.au.
