To keep your mounts and accessories performing at their best:
- Rinse with fresh water after every use, especially after saltwater trips.
- Wipe down poles, brackets and plates to remove salt and residue.
- Check all bolts and clamps regularly to ensure a secure fit.
- Avoid extended sun exposure when not in use - store gear in a dry, shaded place when possible.
- Apply anti-seize or corrosion inhibitor to fasteners if regularly used in saltwater.
- Inspect moving parts, such as pole hinges or mount arms, and tighten if needed.
- Built tough - but a little care goes a long way.
